Hero: Doc Rivers

The Celtics are backsliding, and Doc Rivers is telling it like it is.  He’s dealing with a roster full of overpaid, petulant children.  We don’t normally reward failure here at MHDB, but  after Boston’s 15 point shellacking at the hands of the Detroit Bad Boys, Doc took to the media.

“I think this team wants everything easy.  They want the easy way out.  They want to win easy…I’ve got to either find the right combination…or we’ve got to get some guys out of here.”

MHDB respects the honesty, now follow through and crack some skulls.

Zero:  Tim Brown

Saturday on SiriusXM NFL Radio Network, Tim Brown claimed that first year Head Coach Bill Callahan, “sabotaged” the  Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII against Tampa Bay by changing the game plan at the last minute.  Thats right, a guy who gets his first head coaching job, and gets to the Super Bowl in his first year decides to just hand it over to his buddy, Jon Gruden.  Makes perfect sense.  What in the hell are they teaching these football players at Notre Dame?  I think the real saboteur is the City of Oakland and it’s shocking inability to provide Barret Robbins with enough crack cocaine to make it through the 2 week layoff before the Super Bowl forcing him to go on a Tijuana bender.
